How a piece is made
Paper quilling is patience made visible. This is how Guna turns strips of paper into a framed heirloom.
- Design: Every piece starts as a drawing, sized to the frame it will live in.
- Roll: Narrow strips of acid-free paper are rolled into tight coils with a quilling tool.
- Shape: Each coil is loosened, then pinched into a teardrop, marquise, leaf or square.
- Set: Thousands of shapes are glued in place one by one, building colour and depth.
- Frame: The finished art is protected under glass in a frame chosen to suit it.
