About PaperArt

“Being creative is not just my hobby, it’s my way of life.” - Guna

PaperArt is the online home of Guna’s Craft, the quilling studio of Guna in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. For more than ten years Guna has turned narrow strips of paper into wall art, photo frames, greeting cards and gifts, every one rolled, shaped and glued by hand.

Her work ranges from divine quilling (deities) and miniature quilling to large square and vertical wall art where a single frame holds hundreds of coils.

Guna’s quilling has been recognised with an award from the Government of Tamil Nadu (Poompuhar) and an award from the Lions Club, and has been featured in newspaper articles.

We also make pieces to order. Send us a photo, a name or an idea, and Guna will quill it for you.
